Our outdoor learning area is a calm and welcoming space, where children learn to further risk assess, by using tools. Staff are trained to teach children to do this safely.
Our manager is forest school trained, enabling us to have outdoor learning sessions, throughout the week.
Staff are excellent role models for the children, by having a calm and enthusiastic approach, they nurture their independence to support children develop their self-esteem. We have a high regard for training and all staff are qualified in first aid and to NVQ 2 & 3 level (or in training for an NVQ).
Staff thoroughly enjoy their day, ensuring that all children are having a good day and that we are aware of each child's learning and development, you can keep up to date daily by visiting our facebook page.
Owner / First Aid Instructor
The owner Sue Proffitt has a degree in early years, Level 3 safeguarding training, First Aid and various other training certificates relating to the care of young children. Sue is also a qualified First Aid instructor, which enables ongoing training, for the staff team.
Manager
ABC is managed day to day by our manager Helen, who has worked at ABC for over 25 years! Providing a dedication and love for her role, that clearly shines through to the staff team.
Deputy Manager
Natalie is our Deputy Manager, she has worked at ABC for over 20 years. Natalie assists Helen in the day to day running of ABC, with an equal love and dedication for her role.
We are open all year, although offer term time places on request.

Morning sessions 7.30am-1.00pm
Afternoon session 1.00pm-6.00pm
School day 9.00am-3.00pm
